Angola finished third with six points and Lesotho bottom of group with two points.
It was a slow start to the game but Gabon managed to open the scoring five minutes before the half time whistle courtesy of a Levy Madinda strike, 1-0. Burkina Faso edge Lesotho in Group C
Burkina Faso moved closer to ensuring they qualify for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations as they defeated Lesotho 1-0 on Saturday afternoon, November 15. A first half goal, as early as the third minute by Jonathan Pitriopa, gave the Burkinabe the points again over Likuena and added to their frustrations.
For Lesotho, the loss means they’re relegated to the bottom of the group and their dreams of qualifying for their first ever AFCON are shattered. The Likuena have failed to win any of their five games so far. (MTN Football.com)

It will be almost impossible to stage the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on time, says the man who organised the 2008 tournament in Ghana. Morocco was due to stage the 2015 Cup but was removed as host after expressing fears over the Ebola virus. The Confederation of African Football (Caf) insists the tournament will go ahead on time, starting on 17 January. But Dr Kofi Amoah told the BBC: "It could be a sham. I don't think there is enough time for anyone to do it." (BBC news)
